What should you look at first when a stock appears on the scanner?
A scanner is a tool for finding stocks that have undergone changes. It is not a definitive guide for buying.

Remember this first
First, 3 things to remember
- 1A scanner aggregates and displays changes in price, trading volume, etc.
- 2Status name and data reliability do not indicate the probability of an increase.
- 3After finding a stock, check the chart, news, and time together.
A scanner is a list for finding changes.
A ticker refers to a specific stock. A scanner collects and displays stocks that show changes meeting set criteria among various tickers. It saves you the trouble of looking for every stock one by one.
Status labels like "Volatility detected" indicate which conditions the data received so far has met. It is not a recommendation to buy.
Data reliability is a number indicating the status of the data.
This information confirms how well price or trading volume data is prepared. It does not mean the company is safe or indicate the percentage probability of a future increase.
If data is missing or delayed, the interpretation may change. Check the reliability score, the last update time, and any empty fields.
| Display | Content to read | Unexpected |
|---|---|---|
| Data confidence | Reference information for data quality | Probability of rise |
| Status intensity | Intensity of the observed change | Expected Return |
| Update delay / — | Outdated data or no value | Currently Normal/No Risk |
Start by looking at these three steps
First, check the time frame and the stock. Next, verify how the price and trading volume have changed on the chart. Finally, read the date and original text of the relevant news.
Do not look at just one status name you like and ignore the rest. If you haven't found the reason yet, it is okay to write "Reason Unconfirmed."
Different things happen even after the same status
After trading becomes active, the price may continue to rise or fall immediately. A change in status means that new data has arrived and the conditions have changed.
Do not look at the results later and interpret that a past status guaranteed a profit. Record separately what could be known at that time.
| Common observations | Subsequent situation | Next Check |
|---|---|---|
| Check volatility detection conditions | Trading continues at a high price | Maintenance/Trading Volume/Received Time |
| Check volatility detection conditions | Return below the original range | Whether it went down further, new news, or data delay |
| Check volatility detection conditions | Connection Lost | Wait for a judgment until you receive new data. |
If there is no data, read it as such.
Do not replace blanks or — with 0 or the word safe. They may be marked as such because there is insufficient criteria for calculation.
To learn more about stocks found in the scanner, try connecting the user guide below with the news screen. This guide does not automatically create orders.
You should not make such assumptions
“Since the reliability and status strength are high, is this a stock with a high probability of success?”
This describes the data status, not the probability of a future rise. The status name is not a definitive answer for buying.
Check what you have read.
- When was the last update?
- Did you see how the status has changed?
- Have you checked the charts and news as well?
Apply what you read to the actual screen
