A few promises to one another
Share your experience and respect independent judgment. Help make WAPE a welcoming place to talk about investing.
Discuss ideas with respect. Abuse, personal attacks, hate or discrimination, threats, and repeated harassment are prohibited.
Do not post sexual harassment, explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or content intended to harm others.
Include the original source and date when sharing news, filings, or statistics. Distinguish your interpretation from verified facts.
Unverified rumors presented as facts, fabricated performance records or images, misleading claims, and guaranteed returns are not allowed.
Promotional posts, product or service sales, referral links, and recruiting or directing people to external social-media or messenger investment groups are prohibited, whether free or paid.
Do not sell or distribute free or paid automated-trading programs, solicit installations or sign-ups, or steer people to broker or exchange sign-ups or remote-control access. Guaranteed returns, requests for money or credentials, and phishing are prohibited.
Repeated posts or replies and multi-account spam are also restricted. Neutral experience sharing, technical discussions of automated trading, and original-source citations are welcome when they do not promote or solicit participation or transactions.
Do not coordinate trading to manipulate prices, promote market manipulation, use false claims to move a stock, or share material nonpublic information.
Clearly disclose sponsorships, compensation, and business relationships that may influence your perspective. Do not pressure others to trade.
Keep contact details, addresses, account numbers, identity documents, and login credentials private. Do not share private conversations without consent.
Do not impersonate a person, business, or moderator, or misrepresent verification status and professional credentials.
Share writing, images, and videos you created or have permission to share. Keep quotations limited and identify the creator and original source.
Do not redistribute paid content without permission, repost work without attribution, or pass someone else’s work off as your own.
Use the post or reply menu to report a problem, and block people you do not want to interact with. Reports are not shown in the public feed.
False reports, coordinated reporting to harass someone, retaliation, and using another account to evade a restriction are prohibited.
Moderators review the content, context, and violation history. Report counts alone never trigger an automatic suspension.
These steps are the default for repeated violations. Serious harm, deliberate misconduct, severe violations, or attempts to evade restrictions may lead directly to a longer or permanent restriction.
Posting, comments and replies, likes, reposts, follows, poll voting, media uploads, and community profile bio changes are restricted.
You can read, delete your own posts and replies, report, block, save posts, and contact support. Sign-in and services outside the community are unaffected.
Violating content may also be hidden or removed. The reason and restriction period are provided, and moderation actions are recorded.
Temporary restrictions end when their expiry time is reached. Permanent restrictions have no scheduled end and can be reviewed through an appeal.
To appeal, include the relevant post or reply, the reason you received, and your explanation. Moderators will review the record and any additional information.
